Sponsorship page for my Virgin London Marathon attempt now available

I’m taking part in the Virgin London Marathon 2010 on 25th April 2010 to raise money for Diabetes UK and I’d really appreciate your support.  I’ve already started my campaign with a 1:32.01 at the Watford Half marathon last weekend, and I’m still walking (unlike last year).  Long way to go yet, but with your support, it will be all the more worthwhile.

It’s easy to donate online with a credit or debit card – just go to my JustGiving page:

JustGiving sends your donation straight to Diabetes UK and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you’re a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more. I hope you’ll join me in supporting Diabetes UK.

Thank you.

Watford Half Marathon: 1:35:01 – not a bad start

At the weekend I ran the Watford half Marathon, and turned in a respectable 1:35:01.  This is all the more respectable as it is a “hilly” course.  The weather was cool, but not cold, unlike last year, where the snow fluttered down during the second half.  I cycled to the evnt and back, which made me feel all the more smug.
